Breakfast: corn flakes / muesli with cocoa milk, coffee
Lunch: pizza (vegetarian)
Snack: banana, roasted pumpkin seeds
Dinner: couscous with vegetables
Two months before a marathon, Paul Ramp starts his special nutrition plan. The following is an exemplary selection of meals for one week – the order of meals can vary from week to week. In the preparation he mostly uses cold pressed olive oil, pumpkin seed oil or lemon oil.
In addition the marathon runner uses vitamins and mineral supplements to provide his body with what it needs for endurance sports. In order to cover his iron needs he takes Floradix®; for the general supply of vitamins, the multivitamin liquid Epresat®; and for the supply of magnesium, the magnesium mineral drink.
