Organic certification

The organic labelling stands for the quality and the form of production of the raw materials. So, officially accredited private company control bodies inspect the whole process starting from cultivation and processing to the finished product. Salus is once per year inspected by the control body LACON which can be recognised by the organic control number DE-ÖKO-003 printed on the packages. After a successful control and issuing of the organic certificate, a company is allowed to label its products organic.

EU organic label

Thanks to the European organic label, organic products can be recognised at a glance. With this label, the products and food are labelled which have been produced according to the EU-legislation for organic cultivation. This regulation is valid throughout the EU and guarantees uniform standards for the organic cultivation. Organic farms thoroughly keep the books about all utilities and products. They are inspected at least once per year by an officially registered control body.
