Momordica fruit comes from the plant Momordica charantia (bitter melon) which has been used as a vegetable in Asia for many years. The plant is specially cultivated in the Philipines. Chromium participates in the maintenace of the normal blood sugar level. Zinc and selenium protect the cells from oxidative damage. Selenium and iondine support the normal thyroid fuction. Iodine and vitamin B1 help to maintain the normal enegery yielding metabolism.
Cinnamon bark is used as spice with a very special taste. For the Salus Momordica tablets we use premium Ceylon cinnamon, with a low content of cumarin.
