Floradix^®, Iron plus B12 vegan capsules

Floradix^® Iron plus B12 vegan capsules were developed especially for vegan nutrition. The product is based on our well-established Floradix^® Liquid iron and vitamins formula. Floradix^® Iron plus B12 vegan capsules safeguard the supply of well-absorbable iron(II) already with normal needs, but also in case of increased iron needs, e.g. due to heavy menstruation or sports, as well as during pregnancy and lactation. Early supplementation may be reasonable in these cases so that the iron reserves can support a vital, normal, energy metabolism. As special ingredient the Floradix^® Iron plus B12 vegan capsules contain vitamin B12 as physiologically active methylcobalamin. Especially for people on vegan diet an additional supply of vitamin B12 is necessary, because they do not obtain it from food of animal origin. Iron and vitamin B12 support the formation of red blood cells. Iron is also needed for oxygen transport and the formation of hemoglobin and can reduce tiredness and fatigue. Iron, vitamin B12, B1, B2, B6, niacin and vitamin C support the normal energy metabolism.
Every cell of the body needs oxygen in additon to glucose to produce energy. The hemoglobin in the red blood cells, which contains iron, absorbs oxygen in the lungs and transports it to the cells with the blood circulation.
